Shocking organisation to deal with. A Colette Carragher and Sylvia have been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with. Verbally abusive to our staff, one was so abusive over a balloon deflating during transport that she left spit on our drivers face. Beyond rude and aggressive on the phone. Using threatening behaviour and threats to use social media to destroy a small business, lies, inaccuracies and more. Absolute awful place to deal with.

If you pay the full amount for a second review of your grades the president of iadt will formally decline you. I paid for a degree, essentially, not to learn.

I felt like a plant trying to grow but left inside a box. You're kind of paying 3,000 EUR/year to obtain a degree but not to learn anything, no guidance, no support, no proper curriculum, no thought out assignments.

Learn from my mistake younger artists.
Studied animation for 4 years, the animation mentor Jack O'Shea was very unsupportive and targetted me unfairly for no reason? Also VERY unsupportive for Erasmus for class of 2023, they decide some years if they want to be supportive and some years if they do not. If you want to grow as an artist, don't go here, the cheap tuition is not worth it.

(Also no support for autistic students, NONE whatsoever, rumours of having some kind of quiet room and that's about it? I suppose we're not people despiiiiite half of animation being autistic?)

Very inspiring place. Hope to return soon. Also had breakfast in the cafeteria, usual Irish breakfast in a mix and match style...

I did a year in fine art. The course is a joke, learned nothing. Go gorey school of art instead if u want to learn something. Can not get a hold of any tutors. The head teachers are always away and no proper responses to questions and unfair grading, when questioned why the grade is what it is they can not give u a proper reason.

The Central Applications Office, which dictates the terms of applications to IADT and many other Irish universities, has regulations which are hostile towards international students. Offers are given only in September, requiring students to give up offers from other universities in anticipation, and a very obscure document discounts subjects in British A-Levels and European exams which are 'in the same category' (such as fine art and history of art, or english language and english literature). Be careful with the applications system and write to both the university and CAO to make sure that your combination of subjects and exam sessions will be accepted, as they do not make this clear in advance.

Not able to reach anyone on this phone lines for long, emails nobody answering and when I finally managed to get someone after months of calling, person on phone line was roud and hang up phone line 2 times, while all I wanted is to get basic informations for particular studies. Automated phone service doesnt work, not helpful at all and on all my efforts person hang up phone. I give you for this big 00000!

Terrible student/faculty relations - students are blamed for situations that can easily be fixed - constant dismissal of concerns brought up by lecturers, reps and students because the department's "hands are tied".. It has been a VERY long 4 years and would not reccommend to anyone
