Don’t let the first impressions of this center fool you. It might not be new and glamorous, but the people that work at Hand in Hand are special kind of people. They care about the kids so much! They are so excited to greet the children every morning when the kids arrive, and they get them from the bus with smiles and hugs. Both classroom teachers work wonders (huge shout-out to Edyta and Donna!) Samantha the speech therapist and Emily OT are so experienced, warm and kind. My son looks forward to going to school every day. Thank you Olya and the rest of the girls for taking such good care of him! Thank you Chana for creating this wonderful community, a home away from home, for our kids that need special care and instruction. You truly changed our family’s life, and for that I’ll be forever grateful! Any parents considering Hand in Hand for your children - do not hesitate! This will be the best decision that you will do for your family.

My son started in Hand in Hand two months ago and I see big progress in him already. Unlike other places, he didn’t cry and cling to me the second day during drop off. He’s very happy with those therapy technicians who are energetic, sweet and warm.
The biggest progress he makes is Speech. He started to talk two weeks after we started here. I figured out One on one attention is very important and that’s why the children got in here

As a parent having a child who just graduated from HIH I don’t think I can thank them enough for the progress my child has made in just a year. He went from being non verbal to being able to ask for what he wants, he has such a large vocabulary now, he’s able to make better eye contact, sit through story time and many other things They have been so helpful starting with his TA’s Michelle, Leencey, and Jennifer who always made him feel comfortable. All of his therapists, and the entire staff who made this journey easy and stress free.

Been a parent with 2 special needs kids. I put both of them in HIH within different years apart and they really tremendous help me out for both of kids. I really recommend this place because it will help you child in different levels to archive from socializing with other kids, feeding techniques, sensory issues, SPL (speech therapy), Occupational therapist and so many other services. I THANKS the Staffs and and all the members of the help, communication and services what they done for both of my kids. This is a Great Place for Early Intervention Services.

Highly recommend to any parent whose child may be special needs or needs early intervention services. My son attended HIH center for over a year and made a great strides - he learned to communicate through alternate methods with simple sign language and learned to use PECS. Entire staff was awesome and caring and I am forever grateful for all the great work they’ve done with my child. ☺️

This is my first review regarding "Early Intervention" services and the ABA services provided by this agency call "Hand in Hand"; I was so busy that I didn't do my due diligent prior to agreeing to be serviced by them. My service coordinator recommended them due to the early hours that I needed for my son. The service started this week Monday. Upon this lady entering my home; she started to command and demand that I call my complex regarding providing her with "Parking" she was "Rude to myself and my children; I will not give the full detail of everything that occurred; however, I will not tolerate anyone coming into my home who does not respect me or dismiss my input and concerns regarding a child I carried for 9 months. This woman kept on dismissing the other services that my child had in place. While trying to promote me considering busing my 2 years old Autistic child from the Upper West Side to their location. Since she started working with my child he has become excessively tired due to excessive Temper Tantrum and crying while trying to get away from her. He has become fearful of the other therapists who had worked with him for over a month to build trust. He has become very clingy due to her abrasive method in her approach. After watching this forceful treatment of my 2 years old son I decided to do more research on this agency and I am happy that I saw these comments!

Wouldn't recommend that agency for any parents seeking helping with their special needs child , Hannah the manager will always change case coordinators handling your case because she doesn't keep them more than 3 months or so and all what you will get from that agency is only when they call you asking for the monthly visit as it is mandatory by Medicaid and that is it ( no services ,other support or help will be provided at all ).

Started our daughter here a few months ago and the improvements and growth have been incredible. Amazing amaZing staff who all care so much and really know what they are doing to help these kids. Highly recommend to people looking for early intervention for their children! 10/10!!!!
